Welcome to the Huddersfield Support Group for Autism (HSGA) website.

The Huddersfield Support Group for Autism (HSGA) was set up in February 1992 and has held meetings at regular intervals since then. It aims to offer help and advice to families living with Autism, including Asperger’s syndrome and Pathological Demand Avoidance syndrome (PDA). A confirmed diagnosis of ASD is not needed to join the group.  See the ‘About Us’ page, and further pages on our events and trips, and summer Playscheme.

SUPPORT  Thanks to everyone who supports the Group.  HSGA is a registered charity and is run on a voluntary basis, in the main group we take nothing out for premises, wages or expenses, so you can be sure that 100% of donations go towards our activities.

Our flagship event is our annual summer playscheme which is run on an arms-length basis for clarity of finance and is mainly funded through grant applications, but donations are still welcome, as is help with fundraising.  See Playscheme page.
